This signed Nativity was made by an artisan who lives NW of Argentine, 1500Km away from Buenos Aires, our capital. He takes natural clay from the mountains where he lives and prepare a wide variety of tones. He represents different local ethnic groups as Mapuches, Kollas (photo), Tehuelches, Yamanas, Onas and also Gauchos. Each Nativity shows the ethnic group clothes, music instruments, gifts for Jesus and local fauna. Each Nativity is unique and signed by the artisan Mario Mendoza.
